Impact Day MSP
Founder & Director
Impact Day is a cross-sector workshop that leverages corporate sector talent for social sector needs. We pair nonprofits in need of capacity-building support to experts in their field who give their time pro bono to tackle challenges and develop solutions.
As founder, I conceptualized, developed, and implemented Impact Day. I’m now scaling Impact Day as a program of HandsOn Twin Cities as an in-person event and pivoted in 2020 to a virtual event open to nonprofits and volunteers across the country.
HandsOn Twin Cities
Director of Strategic Initiatives & Growth
HandsOn Twin Cities works to inspire, equip, and mobilize people to solve the most pressing challenges in our communities through volunteerism.
Building off my discovery work as an external consultant, I joined HandsOn Twin Cities (HOTC) as their Director of Strategic Initiatives & Growth to build organizational infrastructure, including web redesign and CRM implementation, as well as design and develop their first-ever pro bono volunteer programming.
Speaking and panel engagements have included partnerships with Points of Light, Common Impact, Charles Schwab Foundation, the Twin Cities’ Corporate Volunteerism Council, Navigating Through Change, and more.
Managing Director, Pro Bono Advisory Program
Upon development of the Pro Bono Advisory Program, I shifted gears into scaling HandsOn’s pro bono programming. In less than a year, the corporate partnerships and program revenue exponentially grew and we’re working with 8+ corporations to build out their custom internal pro bono programs & engagements. Corporate partners and engagements include:
Target: Leading the charge on their commitment to provide 10,000 hours of pro bono to BIPOC-owned small businesses utilizing local employees across every single functional area at Target HQ. Expanding to small businesses and store employees nationally in 2021. Close to 60 small businesses have been supported through the program already.
General Mills Inc.:
Designed, developed & delivering a new annual engagement for their GoodWorks program to provide robust pro bono support 10 BIPOC-owned small businesses.
Designed, developed & delivering a new program specific to their ITQ Integrated Operations team to provide in-depth holistic pro bono to one BIPOC-owned small business in the CPG/food & bev industry.
